Previous Year's Highlights... (we have not had enough time nor resources to update this page to include 2011 photos. If you can help please get in touch.)

Packed to the brim with people and music from Saturday morning right the way through to Sunday night, the crowds rolled in and brought Bickerstaffe to life once again! The weather was typical British Summer weather and kept us guessing as to whether we needed warm coats, waterproofs or sun block! With such a diverse range of music, and fresh new talent from the open mic sessions, Bickerstock 2011 was a success!

In 2010, Trinidadian Soca star Sheldon Blackman and world class musician Clifton Harrydass spread the word of love and respect.

The much loved and ever popular Clifton Harrydass charmed the Sunday morning crowd with his unique classical music renditions on the Steel Drum.

The unique Simon Grady, soulful Spooky, and funky Northerndaze, all provided great entertainment. Red Men Don't Walk, all fabulous local acts, and many more certainly kept the weekend rockin' with their hard working attitudes and captivatingly lively performances. Saturday evening went out with a roar of applause to the wildly visual and  electrifying Poisoned Electrik Head.

Sunday was a definite chill out, with Irish star Gary McGovern and friends bringing a touch of Celtic charm , Gypsy Jazz legends Trez Fez, cool blues rockers The Badge, the captivating and passionate tunes of Northerndaze, and with Zoe in full voice with Stu's talented guitar virtuosos both in splendid costume as The Hatters, all entertaining the festival-goers. They all performed brilliantly throughout the day, leaving Sampras, DC and the Customatix,  Sheldon Blackman and George's Big Shed to top off the weekend in style!

Much food, refreshments and a great range of stalls kept everyone going throughout the weekend. Open mic spots by Tony Schofield and Davy Edge gave local musicians a chance to shine too.

Many thanks is given to everyone who contributed, it was all good.
